Facilities Services - Building Renovations or New Construction (>$50,000) - University

Policy Division of Facilities Manual for Renovation and New Construction

Statement - The University has recognized that facility renovation and new construction are essential to meet the changing needs of the University in fulfilling its mission. In order to plan for the University needs, comply with local building codes and regulations and to reduce risk and liability to the University, all renovation and new construction work is to be directed through the Division of Facilities. All building renovation and new construction work must be executed with a written University contract.

Responsibility The Division of Facilities, under the direction of the Associate Vice President of the Division of Facilities is responsible for Planning and Project Management, Contracts and Administration of Capital Projects*.
