How
To Determine If You Should Use OfficeMax To Purchase Furniture
OfficeMax has been chosen
to participate in Georgetown University's Furniture Program
in order to provide a means to acquire furniture on those
occasions when urgency takes precedence over selection and
price. Hence, OfficeMax will only be permitted to sell items
that can be delivered next day or shipped within 24 hours
but for whatever reason cannot be obtained under the same
terms from the other vendors with whom we have "Strategic
Business Agreements".
OfficeMax has a wide selection of in
stock furniture that can be delivered next day should an
emergency arise (poor planning does not constitute an emergency).
We are currently receiving a 35% discount off of list prices.
Should an emergency arise that
would warrant furniture purchases from OfficeMax, please make
sure that you are selecting items from the OfficeMax Furniture
Catalog that are deliverable in 24 hours. Not all items
in the OfficeMax Furniture Catalog are deliverable in 24 hours.
Should you find something in the
OfficeMax Furniture Catalog that you like, but is not deliverable
in 24 hours, we can still obtain it. We would simply do
so through one of our other vendors (Maryland
Office Interiors, Price Modern,
Standard Business Furniture)
and receive a greater discount

How
To Order
Simply place your furniture order
the same way that you might place your office products order.
You may use the EZ Order form by writing in
your order information in the blank spaces provided at the
bottom of the page and then faxing it to OfficeMax using the fax
number provided, which is also located at the bottom of the
page, or you may order online if you have been set up for
online ordering (online ordering would require a user ID and
password which must be assigned to you by OfficeMax).
Once your order has been placed,
you will receive a fax back confirmation by the end of the
day. As long as your order is placed by 4:00 PM, you should
receive your order the next business day.
Note: If you fail to receive a fax back confirmation,
you should follow up on your order. If you don't receive the
confirmation, then there is a good chance that OfficeMax didn't
receive your order.

OfficeMax does NOT accept credit card orders from Georgetown University
OfficeMax does NOT accept orders over the phone
When furniture is delivered from OfficeMax, it will NOT be uncrated
and it will NOT be
put in place UNLESS you specifically
requested an installation at the time of placing
your order. The prices for installation
of various types of furniture are listed below.
Be sure to write on your EZ Order
form, in the spaces provided at the bottom, that
you require an install on the
furniture that you are ordering, and then list the price
that would correspond to your
item.

How
To Return An Item
To return the
item all you have to do is call up customer service @ 1-877-259-0674.
Give them the item number or product number and they will
give you an ATR number (return number). Make sure you put
this number on the return item. Put it on a piece of paper
and tape it to the box. Do not write it on the box.
The driver will come and pickup the item within 5 business
days.
